When the website is requested, the browser sends technically required information to the web server. The hosting provider may process this information in server log files.
Technically transmitted information may include IP address, date and time, the requested file or URL, referrer, browser, operating system and access provider.
The existing notice identifies Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and the legitimate interest in website stability, security and functionality. Combining this information with other data sources is not intended.
The website is hosted by IONOS SE. Information about processing by IONOS is available at https://www.ionos.de/terms-gtc/datenschutzerklaerung/.
When you contact us by email or through the contact form, we process the information you provide to handle the enquiry.
This may include your name, email address, company, selected subject and message.
The data is processed to answer the enquiry. Depending on context, the existing notice identifies Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contractual or pre-contractual steps and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for the effective handling of other enquiries.
Opening and submitting the contact form uses a technically necessary session cookie. It supports CSRF protection, validation and the secure form flow. It is not used for analytics, marketing or language selection.
An explicitly selected appearance is stored in browser local storage under skyphoenix-theme. Permitted values are default, light and dark. The preference is not sent to the server and contains no contact, account or business data.
The public website currently uses no cookies for analytics, marketing or profiling. This does not affect the technically necessary contact form session cookie.
Answers and results from the Testing Readiness Check are processed locally in the browser and are neither sent to the server nor stored persistently.
Stylesheets, fonts, images and the DICIS badge shown in the footer are served from the website server.
A connection to DICIS, LinkedIn, vendor or partner websites is made only when you actively open the relevant external link. The privacy information published by the destination service then applies.
No third-party analytics or tracking service is embedded. No data is sent to Google Analytics, Meta, Hotjar or comparable providers.
Since 28 July 2026 our own server counts which pages are requested. It stores only the day of the request, the requested path, the language, a coarse device class (phone, tablet, desktop) and the host name of an external referring site. It explicitly does not store an IP address, a time of day, a cookie, an identifier or a browser fingerprint, not even in truncated or hashed form. Individual people therefore cannot be recognised and separate requests cannot be linked to one another; no visitor count in the sense of distinguishable people is produced. The purpose is solely to learn which content is read. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest in improving our own offering. Because no cookies are set and no personal data is processed, no consent is required. The store sits outside the publicly reachable area and is not shared with third parties.
Personal data is disclosed only where consent has been given, the disclosure is required for a contract or pre-contractual steps, a legal obligation applies, or legitimate interests and legal claims justify it within the GDPR framework.
Data is retained only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose or a legal obligation. It is then deleted unless a contractual or statutory basis requires further retention.
The website uses HTTPS to protect transmission between the browser and server.
Data subjects may exercise the following rights within the scope provided by the GDPR.
The right of access under Article 15 GDPR and rectification under Article 16 GDPR.
The right to erasure under Article 17 GDPR and restriction of processing under Article 18 GDPR, in each case within statutory limits.
The right to data portability under Article 20 GDPR and to object under Article 21 GDPR.
Consent may be withdrawn for the future under Article 7(3) GDPR. A right to lodge a complaint also exists under Article 77 GDPR.
